Not only is he ridiculously smart, but he's equally as passionate about supporting purpose-driven business.
Matt has thirty years’ leadership and management experience in diverse sectors ranging from mining, energy, technology, manufacturing, academia, and not-for-profit. He has high-level knowledge, skills, and experience in the enterprise-level integration of people and technology to enhance commercial performance, social value delivery, and environmental sustainability.
He has also had significant experience with scoping, planning, and delivering complex transformation, change management, and continuous improvement outcomes with global enterprises.
Matt is currently working with a Tier I mining company, where he is responsible for front-end loading large-scale sustaining capital projects encompassing deployment of integrated physical assets and autonomous technologies across multiple business units.
He is also concurrently undertaking a Doctoral research project to conduct a comprehensive investigation into intersocial trust. In previous roles, his diverse background has included asset engineering, program and project management, marketing and communications, sales and business development, HR/talent management, business consulting, and capital raising.
Matt earned a Master of Business Administration in Innovation and Leadership in 2018. In conjunction with the Foundations of Directorship course completed in 2019, Matt is currently completing the full Company Directors Course.
He has previously earnt Diplomas of Business and Project Management, as well as a Graduate Certificate of Project Management. As part of his ongoing professional development, he has also recently completed courses in Communicating for Impact, Leading High-Performing Teams, and Agile Project Management.
