Social Enterprise Festival Wrap-Up: Celebrating Impact and Innovation
In August 2024 the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA) hosted the second ever Social Enterprise Festival at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), bringing together a vibrant community of businesses that prioritise people and the planet. This year's festival was a resounding success, featuring more than 70 stallholders, workshop facilitators, and speakers dedicated to driving positive social and environmental change.
The festival offered a diverse array of activities for attendees of all ages. Children enjoyed hands-on painting sessions, while parents gained valuable skills through CPR demonstrations. Aspiring social entrepreneurs were treated to a series of inspirational talks, providing them with the insights and motivation needed to launch their own impact-driven ventures.
