Enabled.vip is a not-for-profit business incubator for Australians with disability. It will assist them to:
- Monetise a hobby/craft;
- Establish a gig-based nano/micro business; or
- Establish a small business.
Membership starts with free access to a limited range of resources, which can be upgraded and billed to the NDIS to access all of our resources and content. All Australians with disability, their carers or others with an established connection to disability in Australia can join the platform for free. Paid membership costs $10 per month.
It supports members with:
- One-to-one business advisory support;
- An internal peer support discussion board;
- A Resource Library;
- Webinars and online events;
- Capacity Building Workshops through Griffith University;
- A blog and quarterly newsletter; and
- An online marketplace linked to Fiverr.com.
Enabled.vip is currently an unregistered NDIS provider. Consequently, individuals with a Plan Managed and Self-Managed NDIS plan can bill the platform's fees to their plan.
We plan to apply for NDIA registration later this year, which will allow individuals with an Agency Managed plan to bill the platform's fees to their plan. Of the 550,000 active NDIS plans 84% of them are Plan Managed or Agency-Managed.
