We’re looking for a creative, dynamic, and detail-oriented marketing assistant to join the Greatest Good team. The role increases the awareness of Greatest Good, its digital hub and service offering, and ultimately, the social impact of Greatest Good and it’s members. You will assist people/organisations to connect to, and engage with, Greatest Good. Consistent with a small organisation, you will have lots of variety creating content, managing our website, running social media channels, and developing marketing materials that engage and inspire.
We are seeking a Melbourne-based marketing assistant for around 10 hours per week. Role is flexible to allow 2 hours a day, 5 days per week, through to 5 hours a day, 2 days per week. This is a hybrid position (80% remote, 20% on site).
Your skills and qualifications
- Marketing, PR, communications or related qualifications
- 3 years+ marketing experience
- Solid experience with all types of content creation and digital marketing
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills, including content creation across websites, social media platforms, newsletters and email
- Digital proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools (Sociamonials or similar)
- Advance SEO/SEM experience including using tools such as Google Analytics
- Intermediate design skills using Canva
- Technical skills in website management, CRM, and email marketing
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
- Ability to think outside the box and contribute fresh ideas to campaigns and content
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven recommendations
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines with creativity and initiative
- Shopify or other ecommerce tools and apps experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Website management and content creation
- Social media content creation (posts, videos, carousels), management and scheduling
- Email marketing, including newsletter content
- SEO/SEM optimisation
- Producing marketing materials
- Research, analysis, data and reporting
- General administration
